That being said, I hope that all believers would unite under this thought:

Right now, a couple thousand years ago, believers were weeping.  They found themselves in John’s position in Revelation when nobody can open the scroll, and he begins to cry.  There is no hope, there is no salvation, Jesus has died! It is in the manner that He died that the believers did not understand at this point in time.  Until Sunday, believers mourned the loss of the man they knew to be God.  It is in the resurrection that death was defeated, that our hope is found, and our salvation realized.  This dramatic sequence of events all came to pass together in order to redeem us to God for His glory. It is a great reminder in these next days to remind ourselves, that without Christ, we do not see God, hear God, be with God, or have hope to ever see God.  Without Christ, we all are dead. This is why our faith is centered on the cross, why all other things fall to the wayside.  Christ is the reason, the point, the end, the means, the all encompassing reason we can even believe in God.  His faithfulness has made us faithful.  I cannot exalt the name of Christ enough in this short post.  Praise God!

1 Corinthians 12:3

The Bible tells us in this verse that anybody who claims that Jesus is not the only way to salvation, (Jesus is accursed) is not speaking by the Holy Spirit.  Be warned, anybody who claims that works, or some other method can lead to salvation, is not speaking by the Holy Spirit of God, but by some other power.

Get ready to be angry

Stop idolizing your future husband/wife.  They aren’t going to be anything like what you want them to be if you want them to play banjo and sing and drink black coffee and appreciate Emerson.  If those are the things you desire in your future spouse, then the marriage is carnal…love Jesus.  Stop posting about everything you dream about in another person, your desires will never be quenched.  Seek JESUS.  If what you seek in your spouse is anything other than Christ first, every other blessing they bring will be folly.

With Love,

Taylor
